Works Summary
S/Y Piropo (formerly Silvana) is a 56 m sailing yacht launched in 2008, conceived for long-range cruising and sustained operational use. Her layout accommodates up to 12 guests across five cabins, with additional space for up to 12 crew members, ensuring balanced circulation and efficient onboard operations.
Over the years, Piropo has returned to NCA Refit on multiple occasions, establishing a consolidated technical relationship. Refit and maintenance works have been carried out in 2013, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2023, reflecting continuity of trust and long-term lifecycle management.
In 2023, S/Y Piropo underwent a dedicated refit programme at NCA Refit. The scope included restoration of corroded hull drains, together with restoration of corroded exhausts serving the main engines and auxiliary generators.
Additional works comprised repainting of the masts and overhaul of the rigging, carried out in conjunction with scheduled fifteen-year inspections, restoring structural integrity, system reliability, and correct sailing performance.
